Data Gathering Devices

• Digital Camera: Standard Digital Cameras with features such as zoom, night vision, panoramic views. Used for still photos.
• 35mm Camera: Standard 35mm camera. Used for photos and negatives.
• Digital Voice Recorder: Used for EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon). and audio notes.
• Analogue Voice Recorder: Standard iron oxide tape recorder. Used for EVP.
• EMF/Gauss Meter: A meter that measures magnetic fields. Standard tool for electricians. Used to find surges in magnetic fields.
• Compass: Standard hand-held compass. Used for magnetic field dectection.
• Audio Amplifier: Tool often used by hunters (Woodland Whisper). Used to increase volume and recognizability from distances.
• Plasma Ball: Recognizable as "Static Electricity Balls". Used to detect surges in static electricity.
• Digital Ambient Thermometer: Standard digital thermometer. Used for temperature readings and to find fluxuations in temperatures.
• Infared Thermometer: Non-contact infared thermometer. Used to instantly find temperatures and fluxuations.
• Hygrometer: Standard tool to guage humidity. Used to find fluxuations in humidity.
• Gravity Glass: A device used to show the effects of gravity. A sand filled hourglass is suspended in a liquid filled glass cylinder. When the cylinder is inverted, the sand within the hourglass moves down while the hourglass itself floats up. Used to find abnormal fluxuations in gravity.
• Faraday Cage: A small box made to block all radio and electromagnetic interference. Used to get true EVP that does not come from outside sources (radios, towers, computers, microwaves, etc).
• Frank's Box: Created by Frank Sumption, and also called a "Ghost Box", is a communication device that allows energies to communicate with us via radio waves. Used to gather audible messages through EVP and DVP.
• UltraSonic Transducer - A device used to send out ultrasonic waves to recoreder (either voice or video) that alters the ion balance in a room. Comonly recognized as high-pitch dog training devices.
• Ultraviolet Light - A black light. This tool is still in the very early stages of experimentation in the Paranormal field. It can be used in the place of IR light and is thought to have effects on negative non-human entities.
• Paranormal Puck - A device that takes in several enviornmental conditions such as temperature and EMFs and translates those factors into spoken and/or written word.
• Motion Detectors - Electronic devices that send out an infafred beam between two units. When the beam is broken, it will turn the lights on, alerting that motion has occured and the beams were broken.
• Static Cameras - Security cameras. This piece of equipment allows us to view an area of alledged activity for subtle to major activity over time, and to ensure no tamperng occurs with objects/areas.
• Infared Cameras - Cameras that have the ability to see in complete darkness.
• DVR System - Digital Video Recorder. System used to record directly to a hard drive.  
• Laser Grid - Light device that casts a grid over a wide-spread area. These grids can be blocked by anything physcial that passes infront of them.
